A Sustainable Two-Echelon Logistics Model with Shipment Consolidation

Background: Shipment consolidation is a concept in logistics management which two or more shipments are transported by using the same vehicle with aim of less resources. Methods: The objective this manuscript to study shipment and assess its impact on cost environment, achieve this, mathematical model was developed optimize while reducing emissions minimizing costs. Results: A case from major dairy products manufacturers Egypt used validate evaluate outcomes. comparison made between transportation models, without consolidation.
